Are you looking for a licensed professional to work closely with families in the community to facilitate discussions about healthy relationships and setting goals? We can work with you to make a positive change.
My name is Sandra Mosqueda and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I graduated from Loyola University Chicago with my BA in Education. I hold a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago the School of Social Service Administration. I was born and raised in the Southwest Side of Chicago and I am fluent in Spanish. I have lived in the area for over 30 years. My passion is working with families to provide them with the necessary tools to regain their strength and empower them to move forward. My expertise is working with families and facilitating workshops.

Maria Hernandez, Youth Facilitator
“ I was introduce to the Youth Cohorts through Sandra Mosqueda, who is the creator of the program and is such an inspiration. Sandra gave me the opportunity to become one of the facilitator's of the program back in the summer of 2011. I believe this is a wonderful program for our youth because it brings awareness on issues that they are prone to face in our society, such as; violence, drugs, bullying and many others. The program not only educates students on the issues but it gives them the opportunity to discuss these issues among their peers, and share their own personal experiences in a safe non-judgmental environment. The Youth Cohorts also involves the families and friends of our youth in the process through several peace marches that took place around the community. I believe the program helps educate the youth, as well as creates a stronger communication bridge between the youth, their families and the community for a greater good.
Throughout this experience I was
blessed to meet such wonderful people along the way, one of them being Sandra Mosqueda, who has become a great role model for myself. Through this journey she was not only my supervisor but my mentor. She has always believed, supported and motivated me to try new things, which is something I will forever be grateful for.”

Rosa Raya, Parent
“ I am grateful for Sandra's work in the community because I learned a lot from the workshops she delivered. I learned to be a better person and how to enrich the souls of our community; and overall create a better world for ourselves. Attending her workshops changed my life because after I took them I was motivated to go to college. As a mother she also helped me change the lives of my children. The youth programs they were a part of helped them realize that they could reach goals that they otherwise would not have met personally and academically.”

Leo Santana, Youth
“ When I first started going to work with youth I felt as if I was just another person there helping out. It wasn't until I was fully able to use my skills and knowledge to a higher extent when I realized just how vital it was for me to be a part of the program. I was the only one who was able to tutor two girls that were older than me in geometry and I also ran the math club with two other youth. It feels great knowing that my skills were able to help students of all ages but it felt even better realizing that I was giving back to my community because these are all students that live around my neighborhood.”

Jose Cardenas, Youth
“ Working under Sandra was without a doubt one of the most cherishing moments in my life. I was given the chance to help younger children with their assignments and served as a mentor. It was just as much of a learning experience for me, the mentor, as it was for the children I was working with. Thanks again for your help, time and compassion.”

CPS Principal
“Sandra has been serving the Chicago community for many years. She works great with the students, parents and community as a whole. She is honest, responsible and a self-starter. Sandra has provided CPS schools in the Southwest side of Chicago with programs for youth and parents that have benefited their mental health and relationships with themselves and their families. I am excited to see her working in this area because we need all of the services she is providing.”
